Hello Mungo,

All details will be available soon on the home page of this web site. (just click on stickers )

But the 2nd Bal des Series will be held in Bannegon near Bourges during the last week end of september.

We will be very happy to welcome english crews in 2005.

See you soon

Cheers

En m'approchant, je me suis aperçu que c'était un homme
En arrivant près de lui, j'ai vu que c'était mon frère

Yves? are you the same Yves with the 101 on Landrovernet.com?

I am the same SWBtigger that is mod over there.

Anyway...
Anyone recommend any good places to stop, Camping or Hotels (for a group of upto 10 landrovers) on the way to the September meet. I'm interested in coming along for a nice trip out in europe.

Hi there, thought I would come over and sample the French hospitality, Bon  , as usual.
The trip To Italy has been put on hold for the moment, callisr has had to call off for personal reasons  and there is nobody else who can afford the time, or who fancies the trip in a forty year old Landy, I don't fancy doing the trip on my own, still maybe another time.
The meetings in Sept. sound tempting though, who knows I may be able to make that.
How you doing? and what you up to, I'v got the Series2 in a thousand bits so that is keeping me busy.

Hi Tigger

It depends on the route you're going to take, are you coming from Calais, Dieppe or Le Havre? and how much days are you prepared to spend on the trip?

Hi Yves
With italy on hold I may be able to make the sept meet in Banegon, it would be good to meet up.
I to am suffering with the L.R. in bits problems, it started as a gbox replacement and now I all thats left on the chassis is the bulkhead.
The chassis is good and so is the bulkhead luckily, but just about every seal has needed replacing.
Front and rear crank oil seals so engine out, front gearbox oil seal, Steering relay oil seal, replace all 4 springs and all the spring chassis bushes [was a pain in the arse they are] , , full exhaust, replace rear diff. new diesel pump, pump [vertical] drive, diesel tank, injecters and heater plugs, all the engine gaskets have been done while its out, clean and rustproof the chassis, and finally replace a load of the wireing.
All this started because the gearbox jumped out of first gear and had a noisy reverse
Still summer will soon be here

Salut

We (some members of the Series 2 Club) are still intending to attend your Club gathering in September and would be grateful of an update on the planning, so we can book ferries. I will post the info on the Series 2 Club website.

Hope you are all well.

amicalement
