Manu - Francois is correct with the Google definition of Boxing Day. In England there are many sporting fixtures - football matches, horse racing, fox hunts etc on this day.

Takeo - some good ideas, especially about LR's being like boxes. Better idea about the sacrificial virgins......

Francois, Time for the "reconnaissance" from the other side of the Manche is there. Perhaps for an historical reason: you leave near of Aquitaine.
Just a small détail; Landyman seems to have some doubts about that when he says:"The Colonel 109 a osé écrire" but far by myself to intend to spoild a legitim "reconnaissance"
