Il n'empèche que les posts en Anglais sont réservés à une minorité .

Je ne vois d'ailleurs pas bien ce que cela vous apporte .

What did I mean dear Landyman ?
I wanted to know who organises the week end near Chalon sur Saone the 15th and 16th of April.
As it's not far from my place, I would like to participate, but don't have the information. (unless it's on another thread that I havn't read yet).
Cheers !
Rory.

Hello Rory,
The 15th-16th of april event is organized with the St Hilaire Land Rover Club (SHLRC) which has the same atmosphere that the LTDS (frendship...)
The greenlaning will be organized around Chalon/Saone area, with one Road-book per car.
The Saturday meal (brochettes barbecue)
We can sleep in a kind of typical barn called "le grand couvert" in tents in the same way that La Lestradole, or in real beds in the stables...
Others infos should come those days.
The price is 22€ (clubs) and 32 € (non members) for the w-e, + something to be determinate for the dinner on saturday evening...
Hope to see you there, English or French or every langage speaking !
Europe needs fraternity !

Mon cher Kopov,

Bien cordialement, Rory.

I too am hoping to join you all in September, I had hoped to come along last year, but my 1964 Series 2A was not so well, but this year we hope to make it! I like the idea of all the Land Rovers, plenty of red wine and cheese.... and my wife loves....

if not, you're strongly invited to join any, but preferably our club...

By the way, do you read french ? where are you originally from ? how old are you ? what's the size of your tyres ? lager or bitter ?
regards
sure you'll be welcome even as a non member...
mind to point you on our map ("carte" icon, at the bottom of your posts)

Hello
Im not from any club at all. I did try to join the swiss club as i met them on very many rallys all over europe, and began pitching my tent with them and eating with them and sharing costs with them,
When with them some of the memebers are freindly and normal landrover people, but after the rally that all changes!! I could never get beyond being told i would be welcolm as a member!! all my emails and attempts to find out how to pay were ignored and phoneing dident help at all!!!
I would like to have joined another club but that was way up in the Marne.I will go along to their events that accept non members.
Im from London in England, i do speak French and depending where i am in France people more or less understand me (even in Paris)
At the moment im driveing about with 6.50 or 600??x16 Avons they look good sound good but dont grip not even dry walm roads!!!
Mostly i dont have enough money to spend since the euro came in.
I did think of starting a club hear as there are always more landrovers but its a step to far for me haveing seen the committe for chasse and the Marie !! Lots of meetings no agreement and disputes amongst memebers!!!
Better i join a club
