Hi Jacques ! welcome on this forum !
How long are you going to stay in France ? Do you mean your series II is in the other side of the world ?
Anyway, if you've got some free time on the 2nd and 3rd of october, just let us now if you may be interested in coming to Bannegon...

Afrikaans...
A+
Takeo.

Iberico...
Hola Xavier !

Okok, wala:
Hello Xavier !
How are you ? You know that I do not speak any Portuguese. And, as to Castillian I only speak a couple of dialects from the south (Huelva area) but I understand Catalonian, Valencian and Aragonese as long as one does not speak too fast. (translator's note: besides Spanish itself, of course).
The Iberico was great, you will agree with that. Are you coming to the 2005 Iberico in Spain ? We will, time and money permitting, above all. money permitting.
Photos: Annette's report will be published in LRE, but I don't know when. Anyway, it was an ordered report.
Please send an e-mail to Annette, she will send you a CD with the pictures when ready.
Annette's report on the Monegros 2004 is now appearing in the November issue of LRE (I already got it) 4 pages and with a very good picture of Javier de Mazarrasa's 88 militar, he was with us in Portugal. Annette's report of El Guixaro was published in the August issue of LRE.
Something else: can you investigate that issue about the permanent 4x4 Santana 109 I used to see between Calpe and Villajoyosa ? The breakdown service was called "GEOFF" because of the english owner of it. He was a good friend of Don Stephens and his son Paul, from Calpe, whith whom I worked in those days.
Best regards to you and your family from
Annette & Takeo.

Iberico
Hola Xavier !
Thanks for your message.
So what you have to look for is a "Servicio Grua GEOFF" between Calpe and, I think, Villajoyosa. The timeframe is around 1980. They had, at that time a 109 Santana grey-green pick-up breakdown truck with a crane in the back. The crane used a Warn winch, I think. The truck had the Santana rectangular headlamps and I think it wore the label "109 Especial", but I am not sure of that. I do remember, however, that it had permanent 4-wheel drive with the Stage One vacuum control button for the centre diff.
The truck may have been scrapped since, I am quite aware of that. But the garage may still exist and Geoff may still be around. If so, try talking to him about the truck and try to get his phone number so I can call him.
If the truck still exists, I definitely want it, in whatever condition.
Ok, Bruno will be slapping my wrist again about the theme of this thread that started with greeting a guy from South Africa.
Best regards to all,
Takeo.
PS: if you answer this, please start a new thread before Bruno shoots me.
