Thank you very much for the warm welcome! It is great to meet more Land Rover owners!
Are your a membership club?
Sadly, my French is not good
Do many people travel in their Landys across to the UK?
I hope you can see the photo of Wilma and two of our three Airedale Terriers!
Hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend!
Linda

Nice car (of course, it's a land rover :) )
You've got a hard or soft top ?

Wilma has a both but we like to drive her topless or with her soft top, we love the wind in our hair and the fresh air!. In the UK, it is starting to get quite cold so we will have to get out winter gear out very soon.
Here is a photo of me with Wilma on Dartmoor, it was taken a few days ago. You can see how windy it is by the look of my hair! LOL

Be careful, there are many lonely drivers here

, might be more secure to post only photos with the dogs
What is the small black device on te top of your front right wing ?

Yes Linda but don't be afraid, these lonely drivers are "brave hearts"
Your Serie IIA is very cute.
It seems that there is not so many french series' travelling in UK. (It is so difficult to make them move even in french area ! )
But it is sure that the club will plan next year to organize a convoy to UK to discover one of your great meetings and meet series' aficionados.
All the best

Hello Linda!!
You're welcome on this wonderful forum.
Thank you very much for the warm welcome! It is great to meet more Land Rover owners!
You're welcome madam !!
Are your a membership club?
Yes we are.... hum sorry, yes THEY are ... since I'm not member yet :o).
This club is still growing up and will gain a lot of notoriety during the 2/3 october week-end with its first big meeting in the city of Bannegon (in France), around the Bannegon's castle !!
Many pictures will be shared ....
Sadly, my French is not good
As you can read there, we can go beyond the border of any country or any language !! Feel you free to post here, even in english.
Do many people travel in their Landys across to the UK?
I don't know. I'm quite new here and never been in GB (only in Ireland). Perhaps because I don't even got a Land Rover !! ... but looking for one ...
The wonderful masters and leaders of this website and this club will answer you more precisely than I can. But I already know that many people here are used to go ccross the channel to do shopping .... land rover parts shopping of course !!
Hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend!
Yes we are. But I think that club leaders are actually really working hard to organize the meeting in banneguon !!
Happy to read you..

Fantastic to hear from everyone! I really enjoyed reading through your postings! Thank you Guillome, Landyman, Stef, Fa_, Bruno P-G and Aegedus!
When you travel to the UK please let me know, we would love to meet you. We have some very interesting roads in Devon, we live only 10 minutes from Dartmoor!

the small device on Wilma's wing is the original mounts for wing mirrors - we plan on taking them off as we have door mirrors ( more useful) and give wilma a respray.
I hope everyone has a great time at Bannegon Castle! If I can share my email address I would love to see photos!
Is there somewhere I can post my email address?
Hope you are all well and enjoying your week!
Happy Land Rovering

Hi Linda, night owl !
About email adress, i would simply suggest you to register on this forum under 'devon gal' ...
Just click on "s'enregistrer" and fill the form ( and choose i you wish your email link to be visible or not ) . Choose as well your language version, before filling anything else, that way, your next look through your profile should display 'english' topics...
And as you said somewhere else (didn't you ?), Devon is a county with two coastlines...
But be sure, you'll find some pics on this forum anyway...
Cheers
